Welcome to the Launch of Silverlight City!
The purpose of this site is simply to an aggregate source of what is happening in the Microsoft Silverlight technology sector. With so much information coming out about Silverlight (along with other technologies Microsoft has released lately), it can be quite a job to keep up with the volume.
Additionally, you might have or know of good blog, article or video postings about Silverlight that you would like to share with others, Silverlight city is the place!
We are basically a directory of information and do not actually produce the content, merely a “What’s New” listing to help keep you up-to-date. In the future, we may offer methods to sort by vote ranking or possibly keyword searches, but our current goal is simply to provide a place where all can share.
The site provides a method that you can vote on a posting as to how value of the post or information to which it refers. The more people that actually take advantage of this ability the easier it is for others to find the quality information. Even if you think the information is just “so-so”, be sure to vote it as “average” as it makes it easier for a person to see by the weight of the votes how good or bad it is.
